Quick and Easy Lemon Rice

Ingredients

1 cup uncooked C&F Foods Rice
1 cup water
1 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
2 teaspoons butter
1/2 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
1⁄4 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover pot and allow to simmer slowly for 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Sprinkle with additional lemon pepper before serving. Serves 4.
