Long Grain White Rice has long and slender kernels.  The kernels are four times longer than they are wide.  Extra Fancy Long Grain White Rice contains maximum 4% broken grains.  When cooked long grain white rice separates and it becomes fluffy.  Perfect as a side dish, as a bed for sauces, for pilafs, salads, and poultry stuffing. 

Like many rice varieties long grain white rice stores well, holds well and is easy to cook.  Gluten free and non-allergenic rice is perfect for many types of diets.
