BLACKEYES - Very firm with good quality product very hard to locate in the US.

BLACK BEANS - Values rising again as of late. Product will be scarce through the summer.

BABY LIMAS - Big jump again in values. New crop was planted late and nation wide stocks will be very tight before harvest comes in.

GREAT NORTHERNS - Unchanged.

GREEN SPLIT PEAS - Prices have been increasing slightly with good demand.

LENTILS - Unchanged.

LARGE LIMAS - Same scenario as baby limas. Large increases in values with on hand product becoming very limited before new crop arrives.

LIGHT RED KIDNEYS - Unchanged.

NAVY BEANS - Unchanged.

PINK BEANS - Unchanged.

PINTOS - Demand seems to be outplaying supply. Values have steadily increased over the past couple of weeks. Processors claim to have a weak supply of owned inventory to bring to market.

SMALL REDS - Unchanged.

YELLOW POPCORN - Unchanged.

LONG GRAIN RICE - Prices remain firm with varied reports on exactly how big the decrease is for planted acres this year compared to last year in the United States.

MEDIUM GRAIN RICE - This market remains very firm. A large portion of intended acres did not get planted this year due to heavy rains in California throughout the spring. Low yields can be expected on the portion of crop that was planted later than normal ideal dates.
